An attractive and excellent ground cover with brilliant scarlet pea-flowers over a long period during spring and summer against a thick mass of heart-shaped, soft green leaves.

Hardy, adaptable perennial. Easy to grow from seed. Drought and frost resistant. Will spread to 1.5m (5′). Highly attractive when trailed over rocks, garden walls and other garden objects.
